Babitha is an Arts-Based Therapy (ABT) Practitioner, facilitator, and trainer with a background in visual arts, education, and counseling. Her work integrates creative expression with therapeutic presence to offer grounded, intuitive spaces for healing, emotional resilience, and inner exploration.
With over a decade of experience, Babitha has worked across diverse settings — including special needs education, community mental health, and arts-integrated learning. She has been associated with organisations such as the Mental Health Action Trust and the Snehadhara Foundation, supporting both individuals and groups through process-based, art-led approaches.
Whether in one-on-one sessions, group workshops, or training spaces, Babitha brings deep care, clarity, and creative sensitivity to her work — always holding space for what’s
ready to unfold.

Ruthika Javarayappa is a Mindfulness-Based Art Therapist and practicing artist based in Bangalore, India. With a deep belief in the healing power of creativity, she brings together her training in Arts-Based Therapy (ABT) with a grounded, compassionate approach to emotional and personal growth.
Ruthika’s work spans across diverse spaces — from supporting children with special needs, to facilitating training sessions for educators and corporate groups,
to offering art-based interventions in community and public settings.
As an experienced group facilitator and art educator in a Waldorf middle school, she creates thoughtful, nurturing environments where expression, reflection, and connection
can naturally unfold.
She also offers one-on-one sessions, combining mindfulness and creative processes to help individuals explore their inner worlds with gentleness and presence.

The Heart Behind Shift Happens
ShiftHappens was born from a quiet, personal truth — that healing doesn’t have to be hard-edged or rushed. It can be gentle. It can be real.
And most of all, it can meet you exactly where you are.
I created this space because I’ve lived the questions that so many of us carry. I know what it feels like to hold everything together on the outside while quietly unraveling inside. I’ve sat in rooms that felt more clinical than caring, where I didn’t feel fully seen — and I remember thinking,
“There has to be a softer way to do this.”
That thought became a calling.
At ShiftHappens, I wanted to build the kind of space I once longed for: one that feels safe, human, and honest. A space where you don’t have to pretend.
Where small steps are celebrated.
Where healing unfolds at your pace, with kindness and curiosity — not pressure.
I don’t believe in quick fixes. I believe in intentional shifts — the kind that happen quietly, over time, when you're truly supported. Whether you're navigating deep grief, burnout, anxiety, or just feeling lost — you don’t have to do it alone.
This is my heart.
This is why I do this work.

Soft Start
Soft Start begins with a message.
Think of it as a gentle way to ease into therapy — no pressure, no big steps right away.
We’ll start with a private WhatsApp chat. Just you and me.
You don’t have to speak face-to-face if you’re not ready. You can ask questions, share what’s on your mind, or simply say hello — all at your own pace.
Because I believe healing doesn’t have to start with a leap.
